Bremer® Halo
The Bremer® Halo boasts clinical heritage of over 30+ years and is once again available as a CE marked product. This superior Cervical Spine Stabilization System is a brace that immobilises the cervical spine, whilst also providing traction for patients who have had neck trauma or other neck related issues. The NEW Molded Crown is rigid and available Sterile packed. The Crowns, Rings, Skull Pins and Paediatric Crown are also now available as sterile product. Every component has been designed, proven and tested to be safely used in BOTH a 1.5 Tesla and 3.0 Tesla MRI Scanner and all components are modular and interchangeable with each other.
Adult Range
- STERILE Molded Crown made from a Nylon Composite - One Size fits all.
- STERILE Halo Crowns made from Aluminium Alloy - 2 sizes which come with 5 skull pins & 8 Torque Limiters.
- STERILE Adjustable Rings made from Aluminium Alloy - 2 sizes which come with 5 skull pins & 8 Torque Limiters.
- STERILE Skull Pins available with a cutting tip or the standard conical tip.
- All Torque Limiters are for Adult Skull Pins ONLY, which are set at 8inlb / 0.9 Nm - these are CONTRAINDICATED for Paediatric Skull Pins
- NEW Disposable Torque Pin Drivers are available, Product # 100032, for use on Adult Crowns and Rings ONLY
- Light Vests for superior air flow and designed to float on the torso muscles - 2 sizes.
- A Kyphosis Light Vest is available upon special request.
- Mayfield Adapter Set available to allow all Crowns and Rings to be attached either anteriorly or posteriorly to the operating table.
- An Aluminium Traction Bale comes with all Crowns and Rings.
- All Vests allow for CPR access.
- Each vest is supplied with anterior and posterior shells, superstructure, liner and disposable wrench
- The Instructions For Use (IFU) must always be followed regarding the application of the adult crowns, rings, vests and skull pins
Paediatric Range
- STERILE Paediatric Rings made from a Nylon Composite - 2 sizes which come with 10 Skull Pins**.
- Paediatric Vests available for Toddlers and Children - 2 sizes.
- Each vest is supplied with anterior and posterior shells, superstructure, liner and disposable wrench
- ** PLEASE NOTE
- Torque Limiters and Disposable Pin Drivers are NOT to be used with Pediatric Rings and Skull Pins as they are CONTRAINDICATED
- It is the responsibility of the surgeon to review the patients status and the literature to ensure proper pin torque and crown position of the Pediatric Rings are used
- The Instructions For Use (IFU) must always be followed regarding the application of the Pediatric rings and skull pins
- An adjustable Permanent Torque Driver, product # 100043 and an adaptor Torque Driver Set, product # 100057 are available upon request
